The open sea has always had the promise of adventure and intrigue. At least that was what William Darian and his two crew mates, Aaron Clark and Eli Winter, were drawn to when they joined the crew of the merchant ship, the Mighty Ester. However, none of them could have expected what life would be like after the ship collides with an unmarked island on the map. Will, Aaron and Eli take a daring leap of faith and swim to safety; giving up their dreams at sea in order to live.
Waking up on the shores of the island of Mandurah, though, is not everything they expected it to be. With little to no information about the island and its history, the castaways travel inland only to find they are not alone. Through the help of a mysterious girl who seems to know the island better than anyone, the three crewmates make their way to a fishing village on the south end of the island. They find themselves at home with a rag-tag group of settlers, also marooned on the island, trying to forge a new way of life together.
As the survivors of the Mighty Ester work to navigate their way in this new world, each struggles with their own demons; whether it's love, sense of purpose or finally finding somewhere to belong. Will, Aaron, and Eli must confront their own abilities to do the most important thing: Survive. Together. No matter the costs.
